The Abell R-80 DMR repeaters are now supported by BrandMeister master servers running version 20171029-191416 or later.
The R-80 is a 25W/50W repeater, available in VHF and UHF version, covering ham radio bands.
Important warning: before you go purchase this repeater, note that the manufacturer did not implement private voice calls, data calls, nor CSBK. Only voice will work (no GPS , APRS, SMS, Radio-Check, Talker-Alias, etc.) until the manufacturer implements it.
Master servers running the latest version 20170909 will now include the BrandMeister repeater callsign in the APRS digipath packets sent to the APRSgate.

The BrandMeister master server version 20170819-094229 fixed the previous issues encountered when authentication was turned ON for Motorola SLR-series repeaters. The problem was due to a different handshake used by this model of repeaters.
Sysops using these repeaters can now use password authentication with the master server they connect to, if they wish to.
Brandmeister master server version 20170810-074109 includes an improvement of the GPS detection algorithm for the TYT MD-380G running the MD380tools firmware as well as MMDVM GPS information.
BrandMeister master server version 20170802-193953 brings a new feature for Motorola SLR et RadioActivity Kairos repeaters. Using your web browser, you can connect to the BrandMeister master server where one of these repeaters is connected to, and view the below real-time metrics.
