Brandmeister DMR Master 2001 (EU) was established years ago to provide access for repeaters and hotspots on HAMNET to Brandmeister’s network. In the early days, there were only a few HAMNET clients, so the master was also opened for access from the Internet.
We are now planning to relocate Master 2001 to a nearby location. Due to the significant increase in HAMNET clients connected (more than some other masters on the Internet), this master will become HAMNET-only and Internet access will no longer be possible.
While there is no set timeline for the relocation, we aim to complete it by mid-2025 at the latest. However, circumstances beyond our control may require us to accelerate this process at any time. Therefore, if you currently connect to Master 2001 via the Internet, we strongly recommend switching to another master as soon as possible.
